NovaHUD costs $5 a month. With a referral code, the price is $3 a month instead of $5.
It starts with a 3-day free trial of the complete app, with no credit card required. There is nothing to cancel if you stop there.
There is no per-token, per-minute or per-word charge on top of any of this, because the speech recognition, the voices and the summarising model all run on your own Mac rather than on a metered service.

Why it is $5 and not $30
Most voice assistants have to charge you monthly forever, because every word you say costs them money at a cloud speech provider and every word they say back costs money again.
NovaHUD does not have that cost. whisper.cpp, Kokoro-82M and Llama 3.2 3B all run on your Mac. Once you have downloaded the app, talking to it all day costs nobody anything — so the price does not have to scale with how much you use it.
$5 covers the work of building and supporting the thing, not a meter running in a data centre somewhere.
How to pay $3 a month instead of $5
Anyone can create a referral code, including you.
The referred monthly price is $3 a month. To get it, sign up with a referral code from someone who has one. Codes are permanent and there is no waiting list or approval step — anyone who wants a code can get one instantly by entering an email address.
The person whose code you used earns between $1 and $4, depending on how many people they have referred. You pay half price; they get paid. The referral page explains both sides.
Common pricing questions
Does the free trial need a credit card?
No. The 3-day trial requires no card and no payment details. If you do not buy anything at the end of it, there is nothing to cancel.
How long is the free trial?
Three days, counted from the first launch. The trial is the complete app with no features held back.
Are there any usage charges on top?
No. There is no per-token, per-minute or per-word charge for anything, and you do not supply an API key. All of the models run on your Mac.
I bought a lifetime licence before. Is it still valid?
Yes, permanently. Lifetime licences are no longer sold, but every one already issued keeps working exactly as it did, with no subscription and nothing to pay.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. Email support@novahud.app within 14 days of your purchase and you will get a full refund, no questions asked. The 3-day free trial needs no card, so you can try the whole product before paying at all.
